While the Sinnoh remakes were billed as “true” remakes of the original 2006 DS games, Studio ILCA has stated that Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl will feature several current modifications.
The Poketch watch is one of such improvements. While players will primarily obtain the device in the same manner as in previous RPGs, the app machine for the 2021 title will undergo some alterations.

According to the official website’s trailers and promotional material, the Poketch in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl will still be gained in Jubilife City.
Players will arrive at the location early in the game. Make your way through Route 202 after leaving Twinleaf Town, which will eventually lead you to Jubilife.
How do I get a Poketch?
Step 1: Once you’ve arrived in Jublife City, head to the Trainers School to locate your childhood rival and friend. The structure can be found to the left of the Pokemon Center.
Step 2: Hand over the parcel that his mother gave you to your opponent. You will then receive two Town Maps in exchange.
Step 3: Once you get the map, go to Jublife’s centre, where the Poketch company’s president will greet you. The proprietor will next request that you deliver him three coupons from three clowns strewn across the city.
Step 4: Locate the three clowns and successfully answer each of their quiz questions to receive a voucher. “Yes” is the answer to every question.
Step 5: Return to the town centre and hand over the three coupons in exchange for the Poketch watch.
