A Far Cry 6 secret ending exists!
It’s been a series tradition to see the end credits roll right at the start, but many people miss it because well, it’s a secret. That is, after all, the point.
It’s not always evident when and where you can technically complete the game and walk away inside the first hour. So, to save you time, we’ve broken down exactly where and how to see the Far Cry 6 secret ending.
How to Unlock Far Cry 6 Secret Ending guide
Unlike previous Far Cry games, where the secret ending is accessible practically immediately, you’ll have to go through Far Cry 6 for a few hours, depending on how much side mission things you perform. After your initial escape and arrival on the island, the key missions you’ll need to complete are Juan of a Kind, Du or Die, Fire and Fury, Fuel the Revolution, and, lastly, Libertad Rising.
That final mission is difficult to overlook because it’s a bit of a set piece moment in which you launch an attack on two huge ships. After that, Clara will take you to rejoin Juan and, after a few cutscenes, give you a speech about joining the revolution before leaving you by boat. You can probably predict where this is headed.
Dani has made it obvious throughout the majority of the game’s beginning that all they want to do is jump on a boat and sail to America. At this stage in the game, you can hop into the boat and drive off into the open water. Continue until Dani responds, “Not my fight,” and the screen fades to darkness.
The game will then shift to ‘three months later,’ with Dani lying on a beach, listening to a news report about President Castillo assassinating Clara and putting an end to the revolution.
The credits will then begin to roll, and you will be able to walk away content in the knowledge that you have completed Far Cry 6. You can also continue at the menu, continuing from where Clara left you on the boat, and gain the credits the long way around.
