How to Get Moltres in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
In both Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, players can catch a large, and we mean wide, variety of Pokémon, ranging from common to legendary, like as the Kanto legendary Firebird, Moltres. With that out of the way, we’ll tell you where to get Moltres in both Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl so you can put together your dream team and become a Pokémon Master.
How to Get Moltres in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
First and foremost, people who are currently playing Pokémon Brilliant Diamond will be disappointed to learn that Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos, and Lugia are only available in Pokémon Shining Pearl. Once defeating the Elite Four, Cynthia, and receiving the National Pokédex, which is handed to players after they complete their Sinnoh Pokédex and visit Professor Rowan on Sandgem Town, you can locate Moltres in Ramanas Park, a postgame region. You only need to swap your Mysterious Shards for a Kanto Slate after you’ve unlocked Ramanas Park, which will allow you to summon Moltres. After obtaining the Slate, proceed to the Kanto Room on the outskirts of the region. To find and battle Moltres, simply set the slate onto its pedestal once you’ve entered the chamber. We recommend that you save your game before proceeding.
To recap, here’s how to find Moltres in Pokémon Shining Pearl:
- Defeat Cynthia and the Elite Four.
- Get your hands on a copy of the National Pokédex.
- Ramanas Park is a great place to visit.
- In exchange for your Mysterious Shards, you will receive a Kanto Slate.
- Make your way to the Kanto Room.
- Moltres must be defeated and captured.
