How to find the Forza Horizon 5 New Heights Treasure Hunt
In Series 1 of Forza Horizon 5, complete the Forza Horizon 5 New Heights Treasure Hunt to earn a slew of gifts and advance toward some free cars. You’ll earn 50,000 credits, XP, and a Wheelspin if you open (smash) the concealed chest. Treasure Hunts require you to complete a specific challenge anywhere in Mexico in order to discover the approximate location of the hidden Treasure Chest. Drive into the chest after you’ve combed the area and discovered it to smash it apart and collect the rewards. For the New Heights Series 1 Summer challenge, here’s how to finish the Forza Horizon 5 Treasure Hunt in Mulege.
How to start Forza Horizon 5 Treasure Hunts and find the Treasure Chest
Treasure Hunts in Forza Horizon 5 are weekly tasks that can be found when you pause the game under the Festival Playlist menu. There is a treasure hunt for each of the four seasons that you must complete. You’ll locate a Treasure Chest at the end, and you’ll be rewarded handsomely with XP, Credits, and Wheelspin for your efforts. All information regarding the current Treasure Hunt may be found on the Festival Playlist page under the tab that corresponds to the current season.
Although there are a few important distinctions, these Treasure Hunts are very similar to Barn Finds. These Treasure Hunts, like Barn Finds, will give you a general location to look for the chest. Unlike a Barn Find, though, you’ll have to accomplish a challenge rather than waiting for a rumor to expose this spot. When you complete this task, a giant red circle will appear on your map, indicating the Treasure Hunt location. Search this area for the Treasure Chest, which is a big wooden chest with ‘Horizon’ stenciled on both sides and has been painted in various colors. You’ll earn all of your goodies if you drive into the chest to break it. You’ll have to wait until the next season to participate in another Forza Horizon 5 Treasure Hunt.
Here are a few pointers to make these Treasure Hunts go a little smoother. To begin, utilize the map filters to declutter the map and ensure that only the most important icons are shown. Seasonal Collectibles, Landmarks, and whatever activity you need to accomplish for the Treasure Hunt challenge should be the only icons shown. Second, use Drone Mode from the pause menu’s ‘Creative Hub’ option to operate a drone and scan the red Treasure Hunt region for the Treasure Chest.
Forza Horizon 5 New Heights Treasure Hunt location in Mulege
To uncover the New Heights Treasure Hunt Treasure Chest in Forza Horizon 5, you must first earn at least two stars when driving the 2020 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray on the Heights of Mulege Danger Sign stunt activity. This Danger Sign and its ramp can be found on a hill just north of Mulege town. Mulege is located south of the main Horizon Festival Mexico site in Baja, California, on the map.
After flying off the ramp, you must travel at least 400 feet (121.9 metres) in the air to earn two stars on the Heights of Mulege Danger Sign. Because the 2020 Corvette Stingray is a quick car, a long runup to the ramp isn’t required to fly far enough. In the Stingray, we just managed to score two stars on this Danger Sign while traveling at roughly 70 mph.
You’ll have the Treasure Chest region circled on your map after completing this part of the Treasure Hunt, which will be just west of Mulege. The Treasure Chest is located to the west of Mulege, on the north side of the white crop shelters. To get your rewards, drive into the chest and shatter it.
