Where to find the Basilisk
Some players found the Basilisk in Hogwarts Legacy. It appears sometimes in the Slytherin Common Room. Slytherin players can only see the easter egg in the Slytherin Common Room.
Twitter user CastielJA tweeted a nighttime video of them sprinting through the Slytherin Common Room. Turning right, they observed a huge snake going through the halls and vanishing.

How this incident started is unknown. The player must pick Slytherin and be in the Slytherin Common Room at night. Run through the common area and look right for the Basilisk.
