How to Find Redcrests in Genshin Impact 3.1 Update
In the Genshin Impact game, the 3.1 updates that took place in September 2022 introduced a new type of level-up material known as Redcrest. It is necessary to have this item in order to ascend Candace, and you will need an astounding 168 of them if you want your Hydro character to reach level 90. The following is a walkthrough for locating Redcrests within Genshin Impact.
The location of Redcrest within Genshin Impact
You will have to travel to the Sumeru Desert if you have not done so already because that is where the Redcrests are found. If you are having trouble locating the new sandy biome, please refer to our article on “How to Get to Sumeru Desert in Genshin Impact.” When you go to the desert, keep an eye out for green cactus that has a red flower connected to the top of them; these flowers are called Redcrests. They are spread out across the whole Sumeru Desert, including the Land of Lower Setekh and the Hypostyle Desert, so it shouldn’t be hard to find them at all.
If you are looking for a particular spot or wish to construct a farming path, the region to the south of Aaru Village as well as the area to the east of the Dune of Carouses are both excellent places to look. As was indicated, they can be found in the Hypostyle Desert, but only in small numbers. Because of this, we recommend beginning your farming in the Land of Lower Setekh as you will find many more of them there.
Since there are currently no vendors who sell Redcrests, the only way to acquire one is to search the Sumeru Desert thoroughly. Furthermore, at the time of writing, they are only used to elevate the four-star character Candace; however, it would not be a bad idea to stockpile them when you find them, just in case further applications for the material are introduced in the near or distant future. Given what we know about Genshin, we may assume that this will be the case.
