How to Change the Radio in Forza Horizon 5
Forza Horizon 5 is a game that has a lot going for it. It’s one of the most popular Forza Horizon games, with a vast open terrain and a wide range of automobiles. There’s enough hidden in Forza’s Mexico that the player will spend a lot of time drifting between races. Those are the times to relax and listen to music.
Luckily, Forza Horizon 5 has a large music library with several radio stations to choose from. But if the gamer doesn’t know how to change stations, they could be stuck for hours.
Forza Horizon 5’s Radio Stations
Forza Horizon 5 has over 100 songs in its official soundtrack, split into six different radio stations:
- Horizon Bass Arena has dance music.
- Horizon Block Party has hip hop and R&B.
- Radio Eterna has classical music.
- Hospital Records Radio has drum and bass.
- Horizon Pulse has electronic and pop.
- Horizon XS has rock and alternative.
Changing Forza Horizon 5’s Radio on Console
The Forza Horizon 5 experience varies depending on whether the player is using a gamepad, keyboard, or steering wheel controller. While the variations in automotive control are modest, the differences in radio operation are not.
If using a gamepad, press right on the D-Pad. They have to keep tapping till they get what they want because there is no “back” button on the radio until they bind it.
Changing Forza Horizon 5’s Radio on PC
If the player uses a keyboard and mouse, the button is somewhat out of the way. To shuffle to the next station, they need to hit the = symbol on their keyboard. There’s no back button in the PC version, so don’t reach for it when traveling fast.
The Sound of Forza Horizon 5’s Silence
The game also allows players to listen to music other than Forza Horizon 5’s soundtrack, such as their own music or podcasts while playing. That means the player doesn’t have to manually adjust the sound settings. It’s as simple as changing radio stations till “radio off.” Then they can enjoy Forza Horizon 5’s ambient audio design.
