Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores – Where to Find Brimshine?
Burning Shores, and it’s remarkably similar to Greenshine, an abundant resource in the game proper. Instead of being in the shape of enormous green crystals, this time it manifests as bright yellow crystals that can be easily spotted with either the naked eye or Aloy’s Focus Scan. It’s common in quest hubs, too, so you can complete multiple tasks at once.
Brimshine is available in two forms: slivers, which yield one piece, and fragments, which yield two. To grab them, just press and hold the triangle button, and they’ll be added to your stockpile. Focus Scan use should become routine if you want to avoid running out before you need to.
The Purpose of Brimshine
You’ll need a lot of Brimshine to buy the new Legendary weapons and armor from the Stitcher and Hunter at Fleet’s End, as seen above. Shards are also needed for these purchases. You will need dozens of Brimshine pieces and thousands of shards to buy all of the clothes and weapons you want. In addition, it can be used to improve the quality of the Blacktide Quen Commander costume that comes as a pre-order bonus for this DLC.
It’s tempting to buy everything at once and level it all up, but prioritizing the completion of one set of gear at a time will ensure that you’re prepared for everything that may come your way on the Burning Shores.
