Hogwarts Legacy: Learn All Unforgivable Curses
As students at Hogwarts, players will have access to a wide range of useful spells, such as Reparo and Incendio. Yet, Hogwarts Legacy also provides you with the opportunity to study the seven deadly curses. These spells are highly effective and can give you an edge in battle, but they are illegal. Example: killing a Troll with Avada Kedavra is much faster than using conventional spells to progressively reduce its Health.
All Unforgivable Curses
Three of the worst spells in Harry Potter’s universe are the unforgivable curses. It is a crime punishable by exile to Azkaban for anybody who uses such curses on their fellow humans. Proof that you are under the influence of the Imperius curse when casting these spells is your sole defence.
There are three types of unforgivable curses spells:
Crucio
Imperio
Avada Kedavra
Hogwarts Legacy: Learn Crucio
When completing the In the Shadow of the Study side quest, you’ll meet Sebastian Sallow, who will teach you the first unforgivable curse, Crucio. Sebastian will invite you to meet him outside the Slytherin common room after your first memorable trip to Hogsmeade, where you buy school supplies and meet Victor Rookwood for the first time.
In order to appease his curiosity, Sebastian will force you and Ominis to investigate Slytherin’s Scriptorium, where you will get imprisoned in a subterranean room. If you want to get somewhere, you’ll have to use Crucio on someone else. There will be a decision to make now. You have the option of accepting the curse and using it on Sebastian, or declining and allowing the Slytherin to use it on you.
Learning Crucio from Sebastian will give you access to a potent offensive spell that does gradual damage to your foes. This spell comes in handy later in the game, when your foes may have amassed considerable Health.
Hogwarts Legacy: How to Get Imperio
When navigating a spider-infested catacomb in the In the Shadow of Time task, you will have the opportunity to pick up some useful phrases in the Imperio language. When you wander about, Sebastian may approach you and inquire as to whether you wish to learn the Imperius curse from him. This offer, like the one before it, can be declined or accepted.
Ominis will show up once you and Sebastian have located the artefact. You can either try to reason with Ominis or use the Imperius curse to coerce him into releasing you from the catacombs.
You can control another person’s thoughts and actions using the spell Imperio. During combat, you may briefly convert an adversary into a friend by ordering them to attack other foes. Because of the many encounters with battles against multiple opponents who may quickly band up on you, this spell is highly valuable in Hogwarts Legacy.
Hogwarts Legacy: How to Unlock Avada Kedavra
Sebastian will only teach you one more terrible curse, and that’s Avada Kedavra. Ominis will write you a note during the In the Shadow of the Relic side quest, requesting that you meet with Sebastian in the catacomb he entered during the previous mission.
You and Sebastian’s uncle are in for a battle after the latter witnessed your dabbling in the occult and became outraged. Battle ensues, and Sebastian uses Avada Kedavra to murder his uncle. The Slytherin student then bolts from the crypt, and it is up to you to give pursuit.
You can then join a dialogue with Sebastian, where you can express your approval or disapproval of his decision. This death curse may be broken by uttering the words “Everyone should know that curse.” Because of your kindness, Sebastian will likely inquire whether you are interested in learning Avada Kedavra. To get the most powerful spell in Hogwarts Legacy, you need just say yes.
Despite the fact that the unforgivable curses are strictly outlawed in the Harry Potter canon, you are free to use them in the game. They will only show their displeasure if you utilise them in front of other characters.
