While not on par with the most in-depth RPGs, Hogwarts Legacy nevertheless offers a fun system for customising your witch or wizard. The gear system in Hogwarts Legacy is designed to increase your character’s numbers and make them more resistant to dark magic, but it comes with a catch: you only have so many places to store your gear in.
Hogwarts Legacy: Unlock Gear Slots
By completing the Trials of Merlin, you can increase the number of slots in your equipment, but doing so will test your magical abilities. After completing the Trials of Merlin, you’ll be rewarded with more storage space for your stuff.
If you check at your inventory when you first begin Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll notice that you can only bring eight items of each type with you. There is a limit of twenty, and obtaining them requires achieving specific benchmarks in the Trails of Merlin, such as completing two Trails, and so on.
Once you’ve finished the first two of Merlin’s Trials, you may claim your reward from the Challenges section of your Field Guide. If you don’t do it, you’ll never get the bonus slots.
How to Take Part in Trials of Merlin
You’ll be put through your paces in a number of ways during the Trials of Merlin. If you want to start competing in them, you need to talk to Nora Treadwell and finish the objective associated with them.
