The ability to create a wizard or witch that most closely resembles the player is a major selling point of Hogwarts Legacy. Hogwarts Legacy: How to Change Appearance
As previously stated, the acceptance letter is the first opportunity to alter your character’s appearance in Hogwarts Legacy. The following elements of the player’s avatar, if selected from one of the available presets, will not be able to be changed:
- Face and Body Shape
- Voice Tone
- Dormitory (Witch or Wizard)
- Skin Colour
In addition to these options, your character’s appearance can be modified at a later time, particularly through the acquisition of expensive clothing. While players can’t alter the volume of the voice, they can always alter its pitch.
In Hogwarts Legacy, you can alter your appearance at Madam Snelling’s Tress Emporium, which can be found in the middle of Hogsmeade after a few hours of play.
Talking to Calliope Snelling will bring up the same main menu that you saw at the beginning of the game. Makeovers to your hair, skin, and brows are available here, but the costs will add up, so keep that in mind.
When you pick up a new piece of clothing or an entirely new piece of equipment, its graphic design becomes part of your growing collection. This means you may always customize the look of the equipment your character is using and equip the best stuff for a stat boost. This way, you won’t have to sacrifice the look of your wizard or witch for weaker stats.
To alter the visual style of your equipment, select it from the menu and then use the Square/X button. You can freely switch between the offered collection of unlocked styles at any moment.
