Interview with AP Entertainment, Christensen commented
In a recent interview with AP Entertainment, Christensen commented, “Putting the Vader costume back on was wonderful.” “It has such a presence about it, you know?” You put it on, and it immediately changes your mood. And, in some ways, it was cathartic for me, because this is a character who has meant a lot to me and has stuck with me through the years, and getting to return and continue with it was an emotional experience.”
In an April interview, he elaborated, adding that “getting to explore Darth Vader’s brain and emotional state” was “a lot of joy.” In the same interview, he expressed excitement to be reprising the character, and even hinted that his time as Darth Vader will not end with the impending Disney+ series.
