‘Harry & Meghan’ trailer is receiving record dislikes
The trailer for the Netflix miniseries “Harry & Meghan,” based on the life of Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, has been widely panned despite the fact that no one has ever seen the show.
More than 400,000 individuals have reportedly used the platform’s “dislike” button on the two trailers for the contentious series.
However, according to data compiled by the website ‘Return YouTube Dislikes,’ the first ‘Harry & Meghan’ teaser has received over 280 thousand dislikes, and the second, which was only released yesterday, has already amassed over 130 thousand.
The extension, which can be downloaded on your browser, “uses a combination of archival dislike statistics and data from the plugin’s users to produce a figure,” as reported by The Daily Mail.
“Harry & Meghan” is a documentary about Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s lives together and after they decided to quit the British royal family. Their own words and those of their friends, relatives, and historians are interspersed with film from the past and conversations with the people themselves.
All six episodes of the miniseries will be made available on December 8; the following week, on December 15, the final three will be made available.
In it, director Liz Garbus explores “the clandestine days of their early courtship and the challenges that led them to feel compelled to step back from their full-time roles at the institution,” as Netflix puts it.
