Halo Infinite: Winter Contingency Christmas Event Guide
Along with the multiplayer, Halo Infinite recently released its campaign. Players have had time to get used to Halo Infinite’s seasonal content and progression structure. 343 Industries has addressed player concerns about Halo Infinite’s Season One Battle Pass and its bought versus earned prize system.
The Fracture: Tenrai event allowed for increased match-to-match variation and unique rewards that were supposed to be event-exclusive. This weekend’s Halo Infinite Winter Contingency event promises a joyful, holiday-themed celebration, and here are all the facts players need to know.
Winter Contingency Event Rank Rewards and Details
Winter Contingency’s reward and rank list are shorter than Fracture: Tenrai’s. However, Tenrai will be making several reprisals, whereas Winter Contingency appears to be seasonal. Winter Contingency’s rewards are festive, with colour palettes and snowflake backdrops. The Winter Contingency prizes and XP requirements are as follows:
Winter Contingency’s first epic nameplate is “Wild Justice.” Peppermint Laughter uncommon coatings are unlocked at ranks 2, 5, and 8 for the Mark VII armour, MA40 Assault Rifle, and MK50 Sidekick. Unlockable at ranks 3 and 4, the UA/Tatius unique shoulder pads. In addition, a rare utility Myesel Ammo Pouch unlocks at tier 9.
Winter Contingency ends with the Sunset Contessa epic armour plating at rank 10. All of these exciting goodies are free to unlock once enough Winter Contingency event tasks and XP are earned. Unlike Tenrai, there are no dedicated multiplayer lineups for this event. Participants in Halo Infinite’s event challenges can earn XP toward these rewards.
Halo Infinite Winter Contingency End Date
Winter Contingency will be available from today until January 3rd, giving it only 13 days left. This should allow users to collect free goodies from Halo Infinite’s seasonal free event. Fans may expect additional seasonal, one-time events with themed content like Winter Contingency.
