GWENT The Witcher Card Game: Make a deck that suits your style
Review each deck and select the one that best matches your play style. After defeating the tutorial, you’ll probably know how you want to play. If not, just go through the starting decks and choose one that you like.
Try to create card combos
The second half of the struggle is really diving into the cards and seeing what they do. Many cards in GWENT have various uses, depending on whether they are placed in the frontline or backline, and what they are placed next to. Seek synergy.
Remove unwanted cards
Delete non-synergistic cards from your deck. You don’t have to bring particular cards if you don’t like them. In your deck builder, you may replace cards you don’t like with cards from other decks. You must have 25.
GWENT favors players that plan ahead, play slowly, and watch their opponent’s moves. Plan ahead and be subtle with your plan. Play cards out of sequence to confuse your opponent. Also, observe their actions. Examine the cards on the board to discover how they interact. See if you can use them.
Giving up is important too
Giving up doesn’t imply you’ll lose. Luck plays an important factor here too. Who knows? maybe your opponent will be missing their greatest cards in the following round, giving you an edge. Save your best cards for the following round if you don’t believe you can win.
