“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – Will Poulter Open Up About Physical Transformation for a Marvel Role”
Will Poulter described the arduous process of physically preparing for a huge Marvel role in a recent interview with ComingSoon.
Poulter, who plays Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, said that the support he received with his nutrition and training was quite helpful, but that doing this type of physical preparation on your own would be extremely costly and time-consuming.
“I’m incredibly happy in that before all of the physical preparation for Marvel, I had a team of people who were helping me out with the food side of things and the training, and I’m very, very fortunate to have gotten a lot of assistance,” Poulter said. “As a result, it’s not something I would advocate to anyone doing on their own.” It’s a lot less difficult when It is your responsibility to just devote yourself to that. To be perfectly honest, you don’t have to pay for it all, because it’s a really expensive and time-consuming affair if you try to do that.”
Poulter also stated that he had never heard of Adam Warlock before seeing the movie, but that he enjoyed the Guardians of the Galaxy saga.
“If I’m being really honest, I didn’t know about Adam Warlock,” Poulter added. “But I was a huge fan of the Guardians franchise, and that for me was kind of the most exciting and the one that appealed to me the most inside the Marvel Cinematic Universe.” “As a result, I’m ecstatic to be a part of it.” And I adore Adam’s character, and my idea for him and his journey was exactly aligned with [director] James [Gunn’s]. As a result, I was grateful.
