Grundy, La Salle County, is no longer under a severe thunderstorm watch
This past Saturday afternoon, the National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Grundy and La Salle counties as rain moved across sections of the Chicago area.
At 16:15, the warning period had ended.
There was a violent storm in the area, and it was headed northeast at 15 mph. Because of this, winds of up to 60 miles per hour and hail up to an inch in diameter were possible.
