Google will soon upgrade the storage from 15GB to 1TB for all its Workspace Individual users
In an effort to assist users in expanding their enterprises, communicating more efficiently with one another, and collaborating more productively, Google is now offering an enhanced experience for users of Workspace Individual. In the near future, Google will increase the storage available to all of its Workspace Individual users from 15 GB to 1 TB. Google has said that customers don’t have to do anything to get the extra storage. Once the service is sent out, users will automatically get an extra 1 terabyte of storage as soon as Google sends it out.
“You can store over 100 file types in Drive, including PDFs, CAD files, and images, and you can easily collaborate on and edit Microsoft Office files without converting them,” said Google. Google added, “Drive comes with built-in protections against malware, spam, and ransomware, so you don’t need to worry about accidentally opening the door to malware just by opening a document.”
In addition, Google has implemented a built-in mail merge to enable email personalization. This enables users to email, numerous people, at once without jeopardizing their privacy. According to Google, you may now add mail merge tags in multi-send emails, such as @firstname, to give each recipient the idea that their specific email was generated specifically for them. This is accomplished by giving the impression that the email was personalized for them. Mass e-mails that are sent in groups usually have a link that says “unsubscribe.” This gives people the chance to decide if they want to keep getting messages or not.
It has been announced that Workspace Individual will soon be available in additional countries, such as the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Greece, and Argentina. New users can sign up for a free trial that lasts for 14 days in order to test out the service before making a permanent commitment.
