Google Pixel 8 Series will feature the next-generation Tensor G3 processor and 12GB RAM
After only one month has passed since Google released the Pixel 7 series, the rumor mill has already begun to pick up speed in regards to the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, which are scheduled to ship in October of the following year. According to a rumor published by Android Police, the upcoming mainline flagships from Google will be equipped with a CPU of the next generation called Tensor G3 and 12 gigabytes of RAM. It’s possible that the Pixel 8 Pro will have a display with a resolution of 2822 by 1344 pixels, while the Pixel 8 will reportedly have an FHD+ panel (2268 x 1080). There is still a need for clarification regarding the real screen sizes.
Google Pixel 8: Expected Specifications
The Google Pixel 8 could have an improved version of the Tensor G3 chipset. The RAM capacity of the device will be upgraded to as much as 12 gigabytes in some configurations. According to Android Police, the display resolution of the Pro model is expected to be 2822 x 1344 pixels, whereas the resolution of the Pixel 8 is supposed to be a normal 2268 x 1080 pixels. It is likely that Google will show off the devices at the Google I/O 2023 conference.
Google Pixel 7: Specifications
The Google Pixel 7, which is the most recent premium offering from the firm, has a display that is 6.32 inches in size and provides a resolution of 2,400 by 1,080 pixels. In addition, the display is capable of a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz and a brightness of up to 1400 nits. The Pixel 7 is equipped with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space, and it is powered by Google’s Tensor G2 processor. A Li-Ion battery with 4,355 mAh capacity and functionality for wireless charging is contained in the gadget. The Google Pixel 7 has a primary camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels, an aperture of 1.9, a focal length of 25 millimeters (wide), and an additional primary camera with a resolution of 12 megapixels. On the front of the phone, there is a 10.8-megapixel camera for taking selfies.
