If you buy only one game, Google will give you a free Stadia Premiere Kit.
Google has added an intriguing incentive in the hopes of attracting new users to the platform. Anyone who buys a full-priced game ($59.99 or more) on the platform will receive a free Stadia Premiere Edition kit.
This new incentive was introduced earlier this week in a blog post on the Stadia website. Individuals in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Austria, and Switzerland are eligible for the campaign.
If you want to take advantage of this offer, you have until October 10 at 11:59 p.m. PT to do so. Once you’ve completed your purchase, Google will send you an email with a redemption code by October 20, and you’ll have another month to use it.
The firm does state that the offer is only valid “while supplies last,” so if this is something you’re interested in, you should act immediately.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Google has given Stadia hardware away for free. Late last year, the site gave Stadia Premiere kits out to YouTube Premium subscribers, and many users also received a free kit when they purchased Cyberpunk 2077 on the platform.
Stadia’s journey to get into the gaming market has been difficult. In an effort to focus on the platform itself, the business liquidated all of its first-party studios earlier this year. Still, the business maintains it is all in on Stadia and offers like this one might do a lot to attract additional people to the platform.
