Goodbye, Don Glees!, the next Studio Madhouse anime film, will have theatrical release dates in the United States, according to GKIDS.
This September, Goodbye, Don Glees! will finally be released in theatres all across the United States after making its world premiere in Japan in February of this year. On two of the days, there will be fan screenings. On Wednesday, September 14, the movie will be shown in Japanese with English subtitles, and on Thursday, September 15, the English dub will be shown.

For those who are presently attending Anime Expo, Goodbye, Don Glees! is making its North American debut today. Atsuko Ishizuka, a writer and director best known for the critically acclaimed A Place Further Than The Universe television series, has created her first original motion picture.

Teenage outcasts According to the official synopsis, Roma, Toto, and Drop refer to themselves as the “Don Glees,” a colloquial term for their backyard antics. “The trio decides to venture into the woods to establish their innocence after being accused of starting a neighbouring forest fire one day. Tensions arise between the buddies as they learn that maturing has led them down quite different routes in life as calamity befalls their mission.
