The new release date for the movie, which is still nameless, is March 15, 2024.
With the impending fifth film in the blockbuster franchise, Queensland will see an economic boost of $79.2 million, 505 new employment for local actors and crew, and prospects for 750 extras.
With director Adam Wingard returning, Dan Stevens is the only actor currently associated with the movie. Although further information regarding the project is still under wraps, initial reports from last year indicated that it would have the working title Son of Kong. Eric McLeod, Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Thomas Tull, and Jon Jashni will all serve as producers for the endeavour.
Eric Pearson and Max Borenstein wrote the screenplay for the 2021 movie, which Wingard directed. Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Millie Bobby Brown, Alexander Skarsgrd, and others were featured. It opened in theatres and on HBO Max at the same time, but it still managed to bring in more over $460 million at the global box office.
