Forza Horizon 5

Forza Horizon 5 preload is now available for anyone that pre-ordered the game, however they may want to free up some storage space for this large game.

The game recently went gold, and the preload is now available to those who pre-ordered it on PC and Xbox systems. Because of the game’s large size, it might be a good idea to preload it right now.

The game’s download size is presently over 100GB on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. PC and Xbox Series X/S users should expect a 103GB download, while Xbox One users should free some space because the file size is a massive 116GB. The only PC version that can be preloaded right now is the Microsoft Store version, while the Steam version is yet unavailable. Playground Games will announce the news later, when they have approved the preload for the Steam platform.

Players with an Xbox Game Pass subscription or who have pre-ordered the game can download it right now. On launch, there is a chance that a day one update will be published. While they may not be able to play immediately away on release, they have already downloaded the heavier content.

Forza Horizon 5 will be available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on November 9, 2021.

Forza Horizon 5: How to Level Up Fast

Forza Horizon 5 has a variety of Events and Challenges that will keep players busy for a long time. While leveling up will happen gradually as you progress through these tasks, some players may want to know how to level up quickly because each level brings a Wheelspin and another step toward prestiging.

In Forza Horizon 5, there are correct techniques to maximize XP gains, as well as AFK farming tactics. Only techniques to level up quickly while actively playing the game will be covered in this guide.

How to Level Up in Forza Horizon 5 Quickly

Almost everything in Forza Horizon 5 earns you XP. Players will be rewarded for participating in any activity simply by playing the game, but there are other ways to gain more XP and, as a result, level up quickly.

Players can level up fast in Forza Horizon 5 by:

  • Building up high Skill Chains.
  • Smashing XP bonus boards in Forza Horizon 5.
  • Completing races (even more XP for winning races).
  • Unlocking XP by spending Skill Points.
  • Completing Accolades.
  • Playing with friends in multiplayer in Forza Horizon 5 while part of the same club

Players should focus on earning and spending Skill Points in Forza Horizon 5 if they want to acquire Super Wheelspins while still earning XP to level up quickly. This currency is earned by banking Skill Chains, which is already a fantastic way to gain XP. Choose a low-cost automobile that has both an XP and a Super Wheelspin Perk, such as the 2015 Porsche Cayman GTS, and buy a bunch of them.

Both the 3000XP and Super Wheelspin Perks in Forza Horizon 5 need 11 Skill Points to unlock. Before selling or wrecking the 2015 Porsche Cayman GTS, players should unlock the Forzathon Points and regular Wheelspin Perk for an additional 6 Skill Points.

How to Prestige in Forza Horizon 5

The prestige system in Forza Horizon 5 adds a distinctive star emblem next to a player’s Gamertag after they reach Level 200, but they will be reset to Level 1. Players can repeat this process up to ten times, with the level requirements for prestige increasing with each reset.

With each of the ten stages, the amount of XP required to advance to the next player level increases. After each prestige, the maximum player level in Forza Horizon 5 is 2999. That’s a lofty aim for all Forza fans to strive towards until the franchise’s next installment is released.

How to find the Forza Horizon 5 New Heights Treasure Hunt

How to find the Forza Horizon 5 New Heights Treasure Hunt

In Series 1 of Forza Horizon 5, complete the Forza Horizon 5 New Heights Treasure Hunt to earn a slew of gifts and advance toward some free cars. You’ll earn 50,000 credits, XP, and a Wheelspin if you open (smash) the concealed chest. Treasure Hunts require you to complete a specific challenge anywhere in Mexico in order to discover the approximate location of the hidden Treasure Chest. Drive into the chest after you’ve combed the area and discovered it to smash it apart and collect the rewards. For the New Heights Series 1 Summer challenge, here’s how to finish the Forza Horizon 5 Treasure Hunt in Mulege.

How to start Forza Horizon 5 Treasure Hunts and find the Treasure Chest

Treasure Hunts in Forza Horizon 5 are weekly tasks that can be found when you pause the game under the Festival Playlist menu. There is a treasure hunt for each of the four seasons that you must complete. You’ll locate a Treasure Chest at the end, and you’ll be rewarded handsomely with XP, Credits, and Wheelspin for your efforts. All information regarding the current Treasure Hunt may be found on the Festival Playlist page under the tab that corresponds to the current season.

Although there are a few important distinctions, these Treasure Hunts are very similar to Barn Finds. These Treasure Hunts, like Barn Finds, will give you a general location to look for the chest. Unlike a Barn Find, though, you’ll have to accomplish a challenge rather than waiting for a rumor to expose this spot. When you complete this task, a giant red circle will appear on your map, indicating the Treasure Hunt location. Search this area for the Treasure Chest, which is a big wooden chest with ‘Horizon’ stenciled on both sides and has been painted in various colors. You’ll earn all of your goodies if you drive into the chest to break it. You’ll have to wait until the next season to participate in another Forza Horizon 5 Treasure Hunt.

Here are a few pointers to make these Treasure Hunts go a little smoother. To begin, utilize the map filters to declutter the map and ensure that only the most important icons are shown. Seasonal Collectibles, Landmarks, and whatever activity you need to accomplish for the Treasure Hunt challenge should be the only icons shown. Second, use Drone Mode from the pause menu’s ‘Creative Hub’ option to operate a drone and scan the red Treasure Hunt region for the Treasure Chest.

Forza Horizon 5 New Heights Treasure Hunt location in Mulege

To uncover the New Heights Treasure Hunt Treasure Chest in Forza Horizon 5, you must first earn at least two stars when driving the 2020 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray on the Heights of Mulege Danger Sign stunt activity. This Danger Sign and its ramp can be found on a hill just north of Mulege town. Mulege is located south of the main Horizon Festival Mexico site in Baja, California, on the map.

After flying off the ramp, you must travel at least 400 feet (121.9 metres) in the air to earn two stars on the Heights of Mulege Danger Sign. Because the 2020 Corvette Stingray is a quick car, a long runup to the ramp isn’t required to fly far enough. In the Stingray, we just managed to score two stars on this Danger Sign while traveling at roughly 70 mph.

You’ll have the Treasure Chest region circled on your map after completing this part of the Treasure Hunt, which will be just west of Mulege. The Treasure Chest is located to the west of Mulege, on the north side of the white crop shelters. To get your rewards, drive into the chest and shatter it.

How to find and restore Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds cars

If you want to unlock a range of classic automobiles to add to your garage, keep an eye out for Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds as you ride across Mexico. With Forza Horizon 5, these hidden gems kept up in barns resurface, and they’re strewn across Mexico’s jungles, fields, and mountains.

As with past Barn Finds, you’ll need to keep an eye out for rumours from the Horizon Festival employees as you progress through the Horizon Adventure campaign in order to locate the lonely barns and the vintage automobile hidden therein.

A 1953 Chevrolet Corvette, a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS, and a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO are among the 14 automobiles hidden in barns in Forza Horizon 5. Here’s how to find all 14 Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds in Mexico, as well as where to look for them.

How to find and restore Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds cars

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to seek out all of the Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds right at the start of the game. You must first obtain a rumour from one of the many representatives of the Horizon Festival, such as Alex or Alejandra. The majority of these rumours appear to be linked to your progress through the Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Adventure campaign, although some can be obtained through other ways, such as purchasing the La Cabaa property in the northwest portion of the map, which grants you access to the Barn Find rumour. Just before we finished the Horizon Adventure, we were able to collect all 14 Barn Finds. When you have a rumour, look for the large purple circle with a barn emblem on your map. You must go to the correct portion of the map to find the barn, which is located within this purple circle.

From here, look for the barn itself in the region depicted on your map. You’re looking for a white building with yellow front doors. Drive up to it once you’ve discovered one, and a cutscene will play in which your character and a Horizon rep open the barn to show a rusting classic car in desperate need of restoration. Even after you collect the car, you’ll be able to view the barn’s location on your map so you know which car came from which barn. You may also send and receive gift cars from other players using empty barns!

The car will be added to your collection after you’ve recovered it, but it won’t be useable until it’s fixed. This takes time, however, it can be sped up by buying in-game Credits (CR) to fix the car immediately. The amount of time it takes to restore a car is proportional to the CR value of the repairs required, with the cost of repairs reducing with time and serving as a timer.

Some cars, such as the GMC Jimmy, require less than an hour to restore and cost less than 100,000 CR to do so, yet the Ferrari 250 GTO will take many hours and cost more than 30 million CR to restore. When the car is entirely fixed, you’ll receive an in-game message allowing you to collect and use it. To get a repaired Barn Find car, go to one of your houses and click on the ‘Garage’ link to go to the Barn Finds page. Any restored car will declare that it is ready to be collected on its icon.

We’ve listed the locations of all 14 Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds below.  To begin, instead of driving around every inch of the purple rumour area in a car, you can use Drone Mode under the ‘Creative Hub’ tab of the pause menu to control a drone and survey the purple rumour area to find the barn. In addition, most barns have a dirt road leading up to them from the main road. These tracks aren’t indicated on the map, but you should be able to find them by flying down any roads in the rumour area with the drone. Finally, tidy the map by limiting the map filters to only show Barn Finds and Landmarks.

Barn Finds locations in Forza Horizon 5

The locations of all 14 Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds in Mexico, as well as the cars stored within, are listed below. The player icon is positioned at the start of the dirt track that goes to the barn on the map photos below, so use those for easy access to the barns. The vehicles are also listed in the order in which we unlocked them, though you may unlock them in a different sequence.

Ford Racing Escort 1967

The Ford Racing Escort Barn can be found here. Find your way to the volcano’s summit. Look for the ‘La Gran Caldera’ label on the map, which is located in Mexico’s northwest corner. The barn is located exactly above the letter L in the word ‘La.’ To get to the barn quickly, take the dirt track that leads off the wide hairpin turn on the dirt road.

Jimmy 1970 GMC

The Jimmy Barn Find is located in the Cascadas De Agua Azul river area, so you’ll need an off-road car to get there. A gravel path leads down into the Cascadas river area from the adjacent Atlantes De Tula ruins. Along this dirt road that leads to the barn, you’ll find a dirt track.

Jaguar Sport XJR-15 1991

The Jaguar Sport may be found at the Aeródromo En La Selva in Mexico’s southwest region. Drive along the circuit’s dirt roads on the south side of the airfield after you’ve arrived. The barn is located just off one of these roads, surrounded by trees. The’mo’ of the Aeródromo map label is likewise covered by the barn.

1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS

To discover the Porsche 911 barn, begin driving down the Caldera’s twisting mountain route on the east side. Drive up the road until you reach the second sequence of hairpin turns. You’ll soon come upon a dirt track on the left side of the road, which should be driving northwards. This is a long road, but stick with it and you’ll ultimately arrive at the barn.

Ford Mustang GT2+2 Fastback 1968

Guanajuato is located east-northeast of the Ford Mustang Barn Find. After leaving the city on the east route, turn left into a road that leads north. After that, the road swings right to face east then left to face north. On the road part following the two turns, there is a dirt track that leads to the barn.

BMW 2002 Turbo 1973

On the north side of the Mexico map, northwest of Guanajuato, the barn containing the BMW 2002 Turbo is just up a hill off the road.

Toyota #1 T100 Baja Truck 1993

To find the Toyota Baja Truck Barn Find, travel to Mexico’s southwest region and seek the following three landmarks: De Otro Mundo, Club De Palo De Fuego, and Palacio Azul Del Océano. The barn you’re seeking may be found immediately below the De Otro Mundo map label, along the crop circle. You’ll see the barn nearby if you drive around the circle until you’re just past the 4 o’clock location.

Ferrari 250 GTO 1962

The 250 GTO is an extremely costly automobile, so this is one to keep an eye on. The barn is near the Los Jardines road, which is depicted on the map, on Mexico’s east coast. To discover the track leading to the barn, look for the dirt road that connects two main roads that eventually intersect at a roundabout. It’s also around halfway between Valle De Las Ranas and Playa Azul.

Renault 4L Export 1968

Look in the northwest region of the Mexico map for the Renault Export Barn Find. The barn is located northeast of the Baja Circuit, near the map’s northern border. You’ll eventually reach a junction where you can turn left and continue roughly south if you’re driving west on the northernmost route. Take this road and look for the dirt path just before it turns right. Follow it to the barn.

Dodge Viper GTS ACR 1999

In the ‘Gran Pantano’ map label text, the Dodge Viper Barn Find is in the second A of Pantano. This location can be found in Mexico’s southeast corner, just north of the Ek’ Balam ruins.

Chevrolet Corvette 1953

The Chevrolet Corvette is located southeast of Tierra Próspera and just south of the main roadway that runs through the centre of the map. There’s a dirt road nearby that passes a small river, and following this road eastbound shortly after the river crossing will lead you to the barn track.

Dodge Dart Hemi Super Stock 1968

In the southern half of the Mexico map, near Teotihuacan, is the Dodge Dart barn. In Teotihuacan, look for a dirt track along the horizontal road slightly south of the road strip. The barn is located directly below the Teotihuacan map label’s ‘can.’

Ferrari F40 Competizione 1989

The Ferrari F40 Barn Find is located in the southeast area of the map, west of Tulum. The barn is located down a gravel road in a swampy area of Mexico. It’s also close to the Riviera Maya on the southeast coast, and it’s just north of Pantano De La Selva on the map.

Ford F100 1956

The barn you’re seeking for in the Ford F100 truck Barn Find is located in a field just south of Tierra Próspera. Below the region’s designation, the fields are encircled by a road loop.

That completes the list of 14 Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds. All of these antique cars are free to alter, drive, and race, so hopefully they will bring you a lot of podiums and wins. Make sure to keep an eye out for the other treasures in Forza Horizon 5, such as the XP and Fast Travel boards, which you must complete.
