The most recent Fortnite update, v17.40, is now available, and it’s a major one. The patch also offers a new story-related LTM for players to enjoy: Impostors Mode, which brings DC hero Wonder Woman to the Island for the first time.
Unlike other LTMs, which are primarily just a fun way to pass the time, Epic is pushing Impostors Mode as a significant part of the battle royale’s mythology, as it involves the Order and ties into Season 7’s extraterrestrial theme.
While the previous Spy Within mode was essentially a hybrid between Among Us and Fortnite, this new LTM takes things to a whole new level. Everything you need to know about Impostors Mode and how to beat it is right here.

How to win Fortnite Impostors Mode as an Agent
To win Impostors Mode as an Agent, you’ll need to accomplish a large number of Assignments, survive the entire match, and eventually discover and eliminate all of the Impostors.
To do so, you’ll need to be alert throughout the game. Keep an eye out for any suspicious behaviour from other players, and avoid being alone with any suspicions if you don’t want to be eliminated!
This is your chance to discuss the situation if an eliminated player is discovered. Use the voice commands to tell your teammates who you think the Impostors are so you can vote and expose them together.
How to win Fortnite Impostors Mode as an Impostor
You must destroy all of the Agents without being discovered as an Impostor in order to win as an Impostor. To accomplish this, you’ll need to be stealthy and avoid getting detected while engaging in suspicious behaviour.
You can utilise a variety of sabotage techniques to make this job simpler, such as disabling Agent Assignments or organising a Peely Party, in which everyone is disguised in Peely clothes, making eliminations much easier.
You can utilise the various speech commands to persuade other players that you aren’t an Impostor when you’re in the Discuss stage. This can involve defending yourself and your colleagues or accusing others unjustly.
