An adult male is considered to be the second individual still unaccounted for.

The Cabo Lucero Fire Department received a call just after 2:30 p.m. on Thursday reporting a floating vehicle, according to Chief Tim Nix. Two bodies were located near the location, according to the fire chief. Authorities are on the prowl for a third individual.

There was a lot of water in the Calf Canyon/Hermits Peak burn scar.

Currently, it is being investigated by deputies from the San Miguel County Sheriff’s Office (SMCSSO). For the hunt for the missing person, National Guard members have been called in.
