Flagship phone OnePlus 10T will debut on August 3 at an event in New York City
Finally, OnePlus has revealed the date of the OnePlus 10T, announcing that the device will go on sale on August 3 during an event in New York City. OnePlus has not staged a physical launch since the release of the OnePlus 7T line in 2019. However, we have little doubt that it will be live-streamed throughout the globe for those who are unable to attend the event. According to the reports we’ve heard so far, this forthcoming gadget will likely be a more inexpensive version of the OnePlus 10 Pro, which is nice given the device didn’t really come with a non-Pro version.
One feature of the forthcoming Android phone has been verified by OnePlus; it will reportedly contain a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 CPU, which is a more advanced chip than the one in the 10 Pro. However, sources indicate that the company would skimp on the display and camera in order to keep the price low. The OnePlus 10T has leaked remarkably little compared to most of the company’s phones, and we’re still waiting to hear major rumors about it, despite several image leaks giving us a compelling look at the device.
The fact that OnePlus has been unusually quiet about the product doesn’t help. Normally, it spends months teasing and dropping hints about its upcoming smartphones, but for the 10T, we haven’t heard anything at all. Given this, we are taken aback by how soon the New York launch is. With only a few weeks until the launch event, OnePlus still has time to tease some significant information about the phone. In anticipation of this new flagship OnePlus phone, we’ll let you know everything it does.
