Make sure you have the Scholar job class leveled to at least 30 by first reaching level 30 in the Arcanist profession. Eventually, it splits into two distinct classes, each of which can be leveled independently: the Scholar (a healer) and the Summoner (a caster).
To meet with the Elezen Arcanist trainer, Thubyrgeim (X: 4.6, Y: 11.4), you need travel to the Conjurer’s Guild in Limsa Lominsa when outfitted for the Scholar class. The level 30 job quest “Forgotten But Not Gone” must also have been accomplished beforehand. The NPC will then offer the task “A Faerie Tale Come True” once you’ve completed it.
When you’re done, you’ll be able to use the /petglamour command, normally reserved for Summoners, to apply a glamour on your Faerie.
Type the command into the chat box, then add any necessary parameters. Type this, for instance, to transform your Eos Faerie into an Emerald Carbuncle.
/petglamour “eos” “emerald carbuncle”
Please remember that you must enclose the summon and the modifier in quotation marks for it to operate. This will transform your Faerie into an adorable new healing companion with the appearance of an Emerald Carbuncle.
If you’re still having trouble finding the right glamour command, try one of these alternatives:
/petglamour “eos” “topaz carbuncle”
/petglamour “eos” ruby carbuncle”
/petglamour “eos” “ifrit-egi”
/petglamour “eos” “titan-egi”
/petglamour “eos” “garuda-egi”
