Fans are worried by Wendy Williams’ latest podcast promotion video
The latest video Wendy Williams released to promote her upcoming podcast received mixed reviews from her devoted audience.
Former daytime talk show presenter Wendy Williams recently posted a video to Instagram promoting her upcoming project, “The Wendy Experience,” in which she reassures her former co-hosts, “Co-hosts, I am famous, and I will be back, trust me.”
Williams was shown seated on what seemed like a bed before the video transitioned to a graphic announcing the name of the programme.
Concerned fans filled the comments section for the 58-year-old shock jock instantly.
“I love you Auntie but trust me we would rather see you all healed up then [sic] bringing us the messy gossip. I personally care more about you then than that❤️,” commented one follower.
“Get well 1st!!! That’s the most important thing ❤️,” wrote another.
“She’s seems different. Hope she’s ok. 🙏🥴,” commented another.
A concerned admirer said, “Not even gonna lie I was on live and closed out then saw ya face and it scared tf outta me.”
The “How You Doin’?” host’s loved ones have been concerned about her well-being ever since she abruptly left the show before its final season a year ago. There were already concerns for her well-being before she lied and said she was recently married to an NYPD officer.
“Things are really off. It’s not the same Wendy … She’s regressed like crazy and her family in Florida is very worried for her,”
We were promised by Williams’ representative, William Selby, that the podcast would premiere in the middle of August, but Selby later revealed that Williams was not quite ready to return to work at that time.
“She’s telling me she wants to do the podcast every day. She’s ready to [do] this thing today and I am fighting her off,” Selby added, adding that Williams is not “100 percent” yet.
“Could she be better? Yes. More still needs to be done to put her in the space, where she can be represented better. I just want her legacy to be respected and intact.”
