Eddie Murphy will pay $35,000/month in child support to Mel B
While Eddie Murphy has been making child support payments since 2007 (when he and Mel B of the Spice Girls welcomed their daughter Angel Iris Murphy Brown), court documents suggest that he will soon have to pay an additional $10,000 per month.
After looking into court documents, the Daily Mail discovered that the parents have reached an agreement to raise Mel B’s child support payments in light of her new financial situation.
Until lately, Melanie has been successful in her job, allowing her to provide a good lifestyle for herself and Angel, as stated in the aforementioned motion. Melanie’s salary has dropped significantly, and as a result, she is now considering adjusting child support for the first time.
In addition, the original Los Angeles paternity deal from 2009 will increase Eddie’s monthly payment from $25,000 to $25,000.
Mel B will earn approximately $360,000 from now until Angel Murphy becomes 18 years old, since the 10K increases will be retroactive to when the motion was filed in October of 2021 and will continue until Angel turns 18.
According to the news organization’s compilation of court documents, “the parties agree that Respondent (Murphy) is a ‘extraordinarily high earner.’
The amount of child support listed below has been determined by taking into account the minor kid’s reasonable needs.
In the amount of $35,000 per month beginning October 1, 2021, Respondent shall pay to Petitioner as and for child support for the benefit of Angel.
Payments for “Child support shall be payable via wire transfer, and shall be due on the first calendar day of each month.” must be made via wire transfer on the first day of each calendar month.
