Does the Steam Deck support Diablo 4?
There is currently no information regarding the game’s compatibility with Steam Deck. In fact, there is no indication that the game will come out on the console on the game’s official page. Unfortunately, Diablo 3 isn’t one of the games that Steam Deck supports officially.
Although the Steam Deck doesn’t have official support for the game, it appears to be playable. Diablo 2: Resurrected and Overwatch 2 are just two examples of Battle.net games that work beautifully after being converted to Proton on the Steam Deck.
Instructions for installing Battle.net and Diablo 4 on a Steam Deck
You can use Proton to play games that aren’t available on Steam by downloading the official Battle.net installer from Blizzard’s website. These steps will also apply to any additional installations.
Which Proton should you use with Diablo 4?
If you want to play the beta of the game before it comes out, GE-Proton 7.51-Beta is your best bet. There appears to be an issue with any other version at this time. This version of Proton should be merged into the final product when the game is released later this year.
On June 6, 2023, Diablo 4 will be released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows.
