You must gain access to the Sunlit Plateau biome in order to obtain Vanilla. The Giant Night Thorns guarding the spot inspired by The Lion King, and their removal costs 7,000 Dreamlight.
If you’re looking for Sugarcane, you can pick some up at Goofy’s Stall, down on Dazzle Beach. It’s also available for just five Star Coins in the form of seeds.
