There appear to be three potential reasons for this error:
The beta is not yet available to play in your region
Your Blizzard client has lost connectivity
The beta has ended

Of the three problems, only the second is within your sphere of influence to address. Your first and only port of call, then, is to totally shut down the client and boot it back up again. You should be able to shut it normally, like any other programme, but you should double-check using Task Manager to be sure. If it doesn’t work, try restarting the client. If it doesn’t work, try restarting your computer. Only removing Diablo 4 and reinstalling it is left as a final resort.
