Destiny 2 Lightfall: How To Get More Loadout Slots
The introduction of the Lightfall expansion brought with it a plethora of improvements to Destiny 2’s environment, including Guardian Ranks and a stored loadout system. According to Bungie, both changes were made in an effort to make Destiny 2 more welcoming to new players and to simplify the game’s mechanics, which were often criticised by veterans. But, in terms of the stored loadout system, you’ll have access to six slots straight away. Nevertheless, gaining access to the remaining four loadout slots is tied inextricably to one’s Guardian Ranks, making it a bit more of a challenge. Here’s how to unlock Destiny 2’s final four loadout slots

Launching Lightfall will reveal a new “Journey” node on the Director screen. The aforementioned Guardian Ranks are housed within. As Guardians achieve level 7, also known as Elite, they will have access to the final four spaces for stored loadouts. At that point, they should focus on the Lost Sector node’s corresponding goals for the Flawless, Solo, and Legendary ranks.
Although the goal is so straightforward — survive a Legend Lost Sector on your own without dying — players are highly advised to wait until they are at least power level 1800 before attempting it. For the uninitiated, reclaiming a lost sector is similar to driving off enemy troops from a base. The good news is that returning gamers will most likely be automatically upgraded to level six, the appropriately named “veteran” rank. If you are a newcomer, though, you will have to “earn your keep,” so to speak.
