Destiny 2: Guide to Complete The Cosmic Chill Challenge
Destiny 2’s Season of the Seraph is now nine weeks old, and with that comes a new seasonal challenge for players to take on. The objective of the Cosmic Chill challenge is to beat a set number of foes using a predetermined strategy while exploring the Vanguard playlist. However, some players find the phrasing to be unclear. Let’s talk about the Cosmic Chill challenge in Destiny 2 today.
Know About the Cosmic Chill Challenge in Destiny 2
Defeat Combatants using Void or Stasis effects in Vanguard playlists to complete the Cosmic Chill challenge. This is where things become complicated, because most challenges do not include the term “impact.” But we’re here to set the record straight and say that each time the term “effect” appears in a challenge, it implies “ability.” Therefore, you need to go through the Vanguard playlist and win against foes using Void or Stasis abilities if you want to accomplish the challenge.
There are three types of events that may be experienced on the Vanguard playlist: OPs, Nightfalls, and Grandmaster Nightfalls. While using Vanguard OPs to accomplish the task quickly and effectively would be optimal, engaging in Grandmaster Nightfalls, which is a more challenging activity, would net you more experience and hence a faster completion time.
A Void Titan wearing the Exotic chest piece Heart of Inmost Light or a Warlock wearing the Exotic arm piece Contraverse Hold may easily complete this challenge with next to no effort, since they can spam Void abilities at whim regardless of the activity chosen. Hunters may have greater trouble than the other two classes because they can’t spam abilities to overcome this obstacle.
