The Return to Castlevania DLC for the action roguelike Dead Cells has been published, and it adds two new biomes and other content inspired by Konami’s Castlevania series. While the downloadable content for Dead Cells is a very tiny part of the full game, there are still mysteries to solve both within and outside of the castle. The Ribboned Key may be obtained as detailed below in Dead Cells.
With the Ribboned Key found in the downloadable content for Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania, players may get access to Maria Renard’s chamber, where a cat will reward them with an item if they pet it, and where conversing with Maria will allow them to acquire her wardrobe. The Castle Outskirts is where you’ll find Maria’s chamber and the key.

A Ribboned Key Guide to Dead Cells
Play through Castle Outskirts normally until a white cat suddenly appears on screen to receive the Ribboned Key. Try to catch the white cat by pressing the Interact button. The Ribboned Key to Maria’s chamber will be dropped by the creature.
It’s worth noting that the Castlevania stages share a trait with the earlier Dead Cells biomes—namely, a modicum of randomization. This means that Maria’s bedroom could not always be in the same spot from one run to the next.
