Day Shift: Synopsis
Day Shift tells the story of a hardworking blue-collar dad who only wants to provide a happy life for his bright-eyed 8-year-old daughter, but his prosaic pool-cleaning job in the San Fernando Valley is just a cover for his true source of income: hunting and slaying vampires.

J.J. Perry makes his feature directorial debut with Day Shift, which he is directing from a screenplay written by Shay Hatten (John Wick 3 & 4, Army of the Dead) based on Tyler Tice’s original script. Chad Stahelski and Jason Spitz of 87Eleven Entertainment, as well as Shaun Redick and Yvette Yates Redick of Impossible Dream Entertainment, are producing the project. Foxx, Datari Turner, and Peter Baxter serve as executive producers.
