Daniel Radcliffe and his longtime girlfriend welcome their first child together
Actor Daniel Radcliffe, best known for his role as Harry Potter, and his long-term fiancée Erin Darke just had their first child. On Monday, the couple was photographed strolling around New York City with their infant. Daniel remained unnoticed as he pushed a blue stroller while dressed in a hoodie and gray jeans. Erin also went for a laid-back look by donning pants, a green coat, and a mask that she wore under her chin.
The two actors first crossed paths on the set of “Kill Your Darlings” in 2012. “Daniel and Erin could not be happier to be expecting,” a friend of the couple stated in March. They are overjoyed and looking forward to their new family dynamic. They just lately told their loved ones. This is a very exciting period.
Daniel has stated in a prior interview with Newsweek that he would like for his future children to be exposed to the film industry.
“I wouldn’t want fame for my kid. Film sets are wonderful places. A lot of the time it can be wonderful for kids, but it’s really the fame side of it that should be avoided at all costs.”
In 2020, Rupert Grint, Daniel’s former co-star in the Harry Potter films, and his partner, Georgia Groome, became parents for the first time. The actor who plays Harry’s best buddy Ron Weasley took a cute selfie with his newborn daughter and posted it online.
After Rupert had his baby, Daniel texted to congratulate him on being a father. “I mean, it is still wild to me that we are now at the stage where we are having kids, and I’m sure that fact makes the rest of the world feel very old.”
Daniel and Erin appear to be relishing their roles as new parents and looking forward to the future. Fans and friends alike have been sending the pair messages of congratulations, with many expressing their happiness for the couple.
