Dancing With the Stars Reveals Season 30 Winner
In a night of freestyle dances and strong competition, Dancing With The Stars crowned its newest Mirror Ball champion on Monday night. Former NBA player Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach were the winners of the newest episode of ABC’s hit celebrity dance competition, out of a field of 15. With a routine that combined a cha-cha and a foxtrot, Shumpert and Karagach outperformed their peers. Judge Len Goodman praised them and gave them a perfect score.
“Sometimes underdogs retaliate, and that’s exactly what you’ve done tonight,” Goodman remarked. “What I admire about your dancing is how cool you are when you dance. There was no ambiguity in the merger; it was spot on. “Way to go.”
Shumpert beat YouTube star Jojo Siwa, dancer Amanda Kloots, and Peleton trainer Cody Rigsby in the season finale.

Shumpert won his first Mirror Ball award tonight, despite winning an NBA Championship with LeBron James in 2016. It’s also Karagach’s first win on the show, which premiered at 8 p.m. ET and will be repeated at the same time on the West Coast.
Julianne Hough, a former judge, and winner returned to the judges’ table today to fill in for her brother, Derek Hough, who was still quarantined after being diagnosed with a severe case of Covid-19 last week. She was joined by Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli as judges.
Last season, former Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe and partner Artem Chigvintsev won the renowned dancing competition.
