Dakota: Synopsis
Sargent TJ Malcom keeps a commitment to send Dakota, Clet’s best companion and war dog, home to his family’s farm when Marine Clet Sanders dies tragically in Afghanistan. Kate (Abbie Cornish), Clet’s wife, is battling to keep the small-town farm going while simultaneously directing the local volunteer fire department, so TJ offers to stay and help. “After rescuing a woman from a burning building, Dakota swiftly adjusts to life on the farm and becomes a local hero,” the narrative states. “In the meantime, the local Sheriff (Patrick Muldoon) recognises Kate’s land’s value and has been pressuring her to sell the property. He’ll do anything, including setting fire to the farm, to get his hands on the land. With the Kate understands the actual importance of the family farm and, more significantly, friendship with the help of TJ, her daughter, and Dakota, her new best friend.
