Conor McGregor threatens to kill Tony Ferguson in UFC fight
In a typically venomous internet outburst, Conor McGregor vowed to kill opponent Tony Ferguson as he pursues his first UFC fight in over a year.
The Irishman hinted in the since-deleted tweet that a battle between the two is unavoidable and that because of the money involved, it should happen sooner rather than later. Ferguson’s mental health was also mocked by the 33-year-old after rumors that his wife Cristina Ferguson had left him after an attack of mania sparked outrage among followers.
“I and you are fighting one day mate and I gonna end your life in there full of it,” he wrote on Twitter. “Sauce. Money. Power. I already own all the belts and the money in this game I just wanna kill one of your rats in there now it’s the only thing left for me to do. And watch me do it. Only on PPV.”
While Nate Diaz appears to have his sights on Tony Ferguson, Conor McGregor alludes to unfinished business with Diaz 😳

McGregor’s most recent bout ended in the first knockout loss of his career when Dustin Poirier stopped him in the second round, prompting a six-month medical suspension for the Irishman after he shattered his leg.
“I don’t give a f**k I just want your money,” McGregor added following the backlash from MMA fans. “Sauce. Money. Power. If the numbers dip I’ll change. Until then hahahahahaahajajah [sic].”
Ferguson retorted by implying that McGregor’s bulking after losing to Poirier is the product of substance abuse. “Taking Growth Hormone Will Do That To Someone’s Build. You’re Mentally Weak & Your Leg Is Compromised. Your Fragile, Frail & Breakable. That GH Gon’ Make U Break Kid. Keep Pumpin’ Ya Chest Ya Cheat. Not The 1st Time God Punished You. Do you Like Picking On People And DJs? WTF P***y. [sic]”
Ferguson has lost his last three UFC fights and hasn’t won since a nearly two-and-a-half-year victory over Donald Cerrone.
