Chris Rock isn’t “concerned” about Jada Pinkett’s request if reconciling with Will Smith
Despite Jada Pinkett Smith’s suggestion that Chris Rock reconcile with Will Smith, Chris Rock is not worried about it.
“Red Table Talk” host Pinkett Smith claimed last week that she hoped Will Smith and Chris Rock could “reconcile” after Smith smacked Rock during the Academy Awards broadcast.
A source close to Rock stated that will not be occurring any time soon, according to an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
The insider claimed, “He’s not concerned with the Smiths at the moment,”
“He is focusing on himself,” the source says of Rock, who “does not follow any Hollywood news.”
During the conversation, Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head. The sequel to “Jada, I love you. ‘G.I. Jane 2,’ can’t wait to see it, all right?” Demi Moore shaved her head to play a Navy Seal candidate in the 1997 film G.I. Jane, which was based on a true story.
When Smith reached the stage, he slapped him in the face. After the event, Smith exclaimed from his seat, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f—ing mouth.”
I hope that these two guys can have a chance to heal, speak things out, and reconcile on Oscar night,” Pinkett Smith stated on her programme. “The current status of the planet necessitates both. And we all need each other now more than ever before.. Meanwhile, Will and I will carry on as usual with our 28-year tradition of “figuring this thing called life together.”
Oscar-winning actor Will Smith resigned two days after the Motion Picture Academy convened to begin disciplinary procedures against him for alleged misconduct.
