Check Chris Hemsworth’s diet shared by his Chef
Sergio Perera, chef to Chris Hemsworth, has spilled the beans on how the famed Australian actor maintains his buff physique. Hemsworth’s diet is managed by Perera, who praises the Marvel actor’s dedication to physical fitness and healthy eating.
Hemsworth, according to the Spanish cook, always starts his day with the same drink. It’s just a cup of hot water with a slice of lemon and a spoonful of ACV.
He claims that by maintaining an alkaline state, his body is better able to absorb nutrients.
Hemsworth’s personal chef, Michael Perera, spoke with FEMAIL about the star’s stringent diet, explaining that the goal is to boost the actor’s protein consumption.
Chris is incredibly dedicated to his training and diet, which makes working with him a pleasure, as highlighted by Perera.
“He’s so much fun to work with as he works hard. Whenever he has to gain weight, we increase his protein intake quite a bit.
“For example, he might have 200 grams of grilled steak with a couple of extra virgin olive oil fried eggs and a few slices of paleo bread.
“An hour and a half later, we’d follow this up with a green smoothie consisting of plant-based protein powder, spirulina, fresh kale, mint, frozen mango, olive oil and sea salt.”
Perera added that Hemsworth’s wife Elsa Pataky is as as dedicated to fitness as he is.
“Elsa is exactly like Chris in the sense that she is tremendously hard working – she’s very committed to her health and fitness,” he said.
“In terms of food, Elsa is Spanish so she is a big proponent of Mediterranean cuisine. She eats a balanced diet, and the key is always using good olive oil, fresh produce and proteins.”
