“Castlevania: Nocturne – Netflix Announced Animated series and Will Focus on Richter Belmont”
One of the first video game Netflix shows was Castlevania, and now the streaming service is returning to the realm of vampires and gothic castles with a new series. Castlevania: Nocturne, which will be released at an unspecified time in the future on the streaming platform, will star veteran series hero Richter Belmont.
Only Belmont’s back and signature whip were shown in the teaser. There are also some enigmatic voices whispering to him. The cast has yet to be revealed, therefore we don’t know who these people are. Richter is best recognised for his roles in Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night, two of the franchise’s most popular titles, which were bundled together for Castlevania Requiem in 2018.
The showrunner is Kevin Kolde, and the creator and writer is Clive Bradley. Kolde previously worked on the original Castlevania series as an executive producer and co-executive producer. Powerhouse Animation and Project 51 Productions are collaborating on the project.
