Cara Delevingne was seen in a parking lot after Burning Man looking absolutely distraught
Friends of actress Cara Delevingne reportedly worried for her mental health when she acted strangely in the parking lot after returning from a festival in the desert, where she reportedly went without food and showering for several days.
Cara has not yet had time to recover after visiting the festival in the Nevada desert, where there are no food trucks or shops.
Since the early 1990s, Burning Man has been held in Black Rock Desert by a diverse group of free-thinkers who come there for a week to let loose and soak up the festival’s signature psychedelic vibe.
Cara, who has recently worried her friends, was photographed with what appeared to be a pipe in her mouth as she rubbed her face and blew her nose.
Her buddy reportedly told MailOnline, “She had just spent days in the desert – not eating all that much and she looked disheveled because she hadn’t had time to scrub up yet.”
“Her friends are worried about her generally after some erratic behaviour, but she has a good group around her. Her sister Poppy was at the festival with her. She wasn’t alone and she has her back. “
“Burning Man isn’t lined with burger vans like other festivals. You chuck everything you need in an RV and that’s what you have to live on while you’re there. Everything works on a swapping system.”
Friends and fans of Cara have apparently been concerned for her mental health after a string of recent public outbursts, which culminated to her festival weekend of heavy drinking.
She was seen looking healthy while celebrating her 30th birthday in Ibiza with stars including Sienna Miller, Margot Robbie, her sister Poppy, and Lady Mary Charteris.
Cara looked dishevelled and worn out in the images taken shortly after her return from Burning Man, which showed her sitting in the driver’s seat of her car, smoking a cigarette and putting her hands over her face.
She took off her makeup and changed into shorts that exposed her bandaged legs, a purple Jimi Hendrix t-shirt, and sneakers. Cara, 30, wore a bucket hat and sunglasses while on the phone while she shopped.
