How Capital One Spark Cash Plus Card Works
There is no defined spending limit on the card. Rather, your Capital One Spark Cash Plus card’s limit is set by a number of factors, including your spending history, credit score, and other factors. Because your balance is payable in full every month and you cannot carry a balance, there is no APR.
But what if you don’t pay your bill in full at the end of the month? On your outstanding statement balance, you will be charged a late fee of 2.99 percent. Until you pay the previous month’s debt in full, your account will be considered past due.
Annual Fee For The Card
The yearly fee for the Capital One Spark Cash Plus Credit Card is $150. The first year is not exempt.
Capital One Spark Cash Plus Review Final Words
The Spark Cash Plus has taken the place of the Spark Card, which is no longer available for new applications. The card comes with a $1,000 bonus, but you must spend a significant amount to qualify.
If you spend $5,000 in the first three months, you’ll get $500, and if you spend $50,000 in the first six months, you’ll get another $500. Once you’ve completed that amount, you’ll receive $1,000 in addition to the 2% cashback you earn on every purchase.
If you spend $200,000 or more in a year, you will be eligible for a $200 bonus, which is an annual benefit. However, before the card was officially announced, we spotted a $1,200 bonus, which may be worth the wait.
In terms of perks, the card isn’t worth the $150 annual price. Employee cards, at the very least, are free, and there are no international transaction fees.
