Cameron Diaz retires again following Netflix film with Jamie Foxx
As soon as production wraps on her next Netflix movie “Back in Action” starring Jamie Foxx, the beautiful actress who has appeared in films like “Charlie’s Angels” and “The Mask” is said to be calling it quits on her acting career. Diaz, 50, has a 3-year-old daughter named Raddix, and she wants to devote herself to being a good mother to her instead of a working actress.
These consecutive 10-hour workdays have been taxing on her, and she despises being separated from Raddix, a reliable source claims. Motherhood is Cameron’s greatest passion in life.

Benji Madden, who is married to Diaz, is enthusiastic about her acting career but admits that life on set can be stressful. Cameron’s decision to retire isn’t completely unexpected, given she stated she was done with acting a year before adopting Raddix in 2019.
Although Diaz’s comeback to acting in “Back in Action” opposite Jamie Foxx was a pleasant surprise to fans, many expected her to stay away from the spotlight for a little longer. Director Seth Gordon is at the helm of this action comedy, which is scheduled for a 2024 release.
A source close to Diaz has stated that Foxx had zero influence on her decision to leave. There have been rumors of turbulence on set, including Foxx apparently throwing a tantrum and dismissing many employees.
According to the insider, Diaz is aware of the importance of being able to make difficult choices in the business and that Foxx was the deciding factor in her decision to participate in the project.
The insider said that now that Cameron has established herself in Hollywood, she “has nothing left to prove to anyone.” Diaz and Foxx are old friends who have collaborated before. They first appeared in “Any Given Sunday” together in 1999, and then again in the 2014 “Annie” remake.
According to Screen Daily, “Back in Action” was filmed in the United Kingdom (UK) between December 2, 2022, and March 9, and more filming will take place in Georgia (GA) between March 27 and April 14.
