Welcome to our guide “Bugsnax: How To Capture A Preying Picantis?”. One of Bugsnax’s more difficult sidequests involves the player to capture a Preying Picantis, and that is a multi-step process.
How to find a Preying Picantis?
The Preying Picantis may be found at the Sizzlin Sands location, just before the wooden bridge at the rear of Scorched Gorge. When the player initially attempts to cross the bridge, it breaks, and it is only repaired until the player returns Cromdo, Chandlo, & Snorpy to Snaxburg and views the next big story event.
How to capture a Preying Picantis in Bugsnax?
When initially encountering a Preying Picantis, the player will notice the first issue. A Preying Picantis is violent and always on fire, as its name implies. The flames would break a Snak Trap or a Trip Shot if used on it, and will light a player on fire if touched directly. The player must use the surroundings and Bugsnax to extinguish it. This can be done in several ways. First, they can try to trap a preying picantis into a Flapjackarak’s tornado. They can also use the buggy ball or even their body to entice the Preying Picantis onto an oasis in the map’s center. They either allow the Preying Picantis being sprayed by the swimming Sodie D or coax it into going in.
A Preying Picantis is a hybrid bugsnak, made up of the Incheritto, a cheepoof, plus two tacroaches. After the fire is out, the player must stun and capture the timer before it runs and breaks into tiny pieces. The Flapjackarack’s tornado is the easiest way. It finally puts out the fire and knocks them unconscious. They can also use a charge loaded spuddy to attract it. But these connections can be faulty. The Trip Shot is the most reliable approach. The player should prepare the line near the oasis, amid two trees. To use the Preying Picantis, the player must place it so it runs into the trap.
