Britney Spears Says She Wont Meet Her Sons until She Feels Valued
Britney Spears has been opening up more about her rocky family dynamic with her sons.
Spears addressed her son Jayden James’s assertions that she uses social media to get attention after an interview with The Daily Mail and ITV broadcast earlier this month.
The 40-year-old “Hold Me Closer” singer admitted that she “want to be heard,” in a post that was later deleted from Instagram. In her words, “I’m angry,”
Spears addressed the lads’ decision not to meet them at the moment by saying that she also had her doubts. It scared her to tell them, “I’m afraid to inform you guys, I’m not willing to see you until I feel valued,”
Spears said she “was desperate to see you guys” and “but honestly, I should have valued myself way more” while discussing how she felt she was treated for attempting to be involved in her sons’ life.
The singer apologised to his fans, saying, “All I know is my love for my children is more than anything and I’m sorry if I ever hurt you guys in any way,”

Later, when her sons were teenagers, she spoke to them more frankly. She then said, “I was told you guys have blocked me, but Jayden and Preston, I adore you.”
Spears said she wished her sons would use the punching bag she gave them to hone their skills, calling them “unbelievable in the gym” and “skilled in everything you do.”
When she finally said, “I’m so blessed to even call you mine,” he cried. And I feel the need to let you know.
Preston, who turns 17 on Wednesday, “asked my mother not to post his photos, and she did it anyway. So it didn’t go well.” Jayden stated in an interview with The Daily Mail, explaining that he and his brother are conflicted over Spears’ social media use.

Jayden said, “social media helps her… So if that’s what she wants to do, that’s what she wants to do. I’m not going to hate her for that.”
“At the same time, she should come to the realisation of whatever it is that stops her loving her family,” the teen concluded.
‘It’s almost like she has to post something on Instagram to get some attention. This has gone on for years and years and years and there’s a high chance that this will never stop, but I’m hoping for me that she will stop.”
