Britney Spears responds furiously to Kevin Federline’s assertion that their sons ‘do not see’ her
Following his public assertions that their two teenage sons have not seen Britney in months, Kevin Federline, Britney’s ex-husband, is at differences with her.
“have decided they are not seeing (their mom) right now.”
It is been a while since they have seen her, he said in an interview. She married Sam Asghari in June, but they decided not to attend.
Spears, 40, called Federline’s interview “hurtful.” in an Instagram Story on Saturday.
“It saddens me to hear that my ex-husband has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children. As we all know, raising teenage boys is never easy for anyone,” she wrote. “It concerns me the reason is based on my Instagram. It was LONG before Instagram.”
“I gave them everything.” the pop sensation gushed.
In addition, Spears alleged that her mother Lynne Spears had urged that she grant Federline primary custody. For the time being, she has the right to visit with Sean and Jayden as a minor.
Federline informed that Spears’ relationship with their sons is strained as a result of her recent Instagram posts of risqué topless images.
“‘Look, maybe that’s just another way she tries to express herself.’ Federline allegedly said to their sons.
“But that doesn’t take away from the fact of what it does to them. It’s tough,” he said. “I can’t imagine how it feels to be a teenager having to go to high school.”
Spears responded to the criticism of her photographs in an Instagram “Other artists have made much worse when their children were extremely young !!!!!”
Spears responded to the criticism of her photographs in an Instagram “Other artists have made much worse when their children were extremely young !!!!!” She added: “Reminder that the trauma and insults that come with fame and this business not only affect me but my children as well !!!!”
On his Instagram Story, Asghari stood up for Spears.”To clarify my wife has never posted a nude selfie except of her butt (which) is quite modest these days,” he wrote. “All other posts were implied nudity (which) can be seen in any ad for lotion or soap.”
It was “hard to watch, harder to live through, harder to watch my boys go through than anything else.” Federline said of Spears’ 13-year conservatorship under her father Jamie Spears, which ended in November.
The musician and former backup dancer added that he feels Jamie “saved” Spears’ life in his interview on Saturday.
“They’ve had a lot of questions about it,” Federline said. “I don’t know that I can answer all of them for them, but I just tried to explain to them that your mom needed help, you know, and the people were in play to try to make that happen, to make it better.”
Federline and Jamie have a history of disagreements. Federline’s longtime lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, who was with Federline when he filed the case, claims that he took out a restraining order against Jamie in 2019 after a “inappropriate physical altercation” with Sean during a visit to Federline’s house in Westlake Village.
After looking into “allegations of child abuse.” District Attorney Gregory Totten opted not to press charges against Jamie.
Totten came to the conclusion that “After reviewing the evidence, there is insufficient proof that a criminal offence was committed by Mr. Spears,” to charge Spears with a crime.
The troubled relationship between Federline and Jamie remains “welcome” in his grandchildren’s life “if that’s what the boys wanted.”
“I don’t have any hard feelings toward Jamie Spears. People make mistakes. I feel bad for him. I feel like he’s been put through the wringer.”
The two had a public argument in which Asghari called Federline’s comments “irresponsible” and claimed he “vilify” Spears.
“His character is revealed by approval of the cruel 13 year CShip and his loyalty to Jaimie indicates his approval at time of its conception as well,”
Asghari believes His wife’s mental health issues might have “easily (been) dealt with (in) therapy. … Anyone approving of it is wrong of benefiting from it somehow.”
In the future, he said, “I wish him the best and hope he has a more positive outlook in the future for benefit of all involved,”
