The new leading couple for Netflix’s popular romance show Bridgerton’s forthcoming third season has been revealed.

The tale will now abruptly turn its attention to the growing romance between Luke Newton’s Colin Bridgerton and Nicola Coughlan’s Penelope Featherington in the upcoming volume, which will formally deviate from the Julia Quinn novel series’ order. Since the first season, which was mostly about Penelope’s one-sided crush on the third Bridgerton son, their story has been teased.
Season 3 of Bridgerton will be based on the fourth book in the series, Romancing Mister Bridgerton. Colin and Penelope will follow in the footsteps of Daphne and Simon from Season 1 and Anthony and Kate from the most recent season.
It’s unknown why the Netflix series’ chronological order differs from the books. The following narrative was supposed to be about Luke Thompson’s Benedict Bridgerton and his romance with Sophie Beckett, according to fans.
